Property ads
- A property advertisement needs a Trakheesi permit number tied to that property.
- Ads show the brokerage name and ORN, and the agent name and BRN.
- A QR code is required on printed and video ads.
- The permit is issued to the licensed company, not the individual.
- The advertised price must match the permit. Do not present gross yield as net, or returns as guaranteed.
- Post "just sold" only after the transfer is recorded.
Content that does not offer a property
Cost explainers, process guides, calculators and market commentary with cited sources are generally treated differently from listings. This is a secondary reading, not an official ruling, so check with your brokerage.
Social media advertiser permit
The UAE Media Council advertiser permit rules were introduced recently, and sources disagree on exemptions and fines. Confirm whether it applies to you.
